- Recommended to try and exercise your treated muscles for 1-2 hours after treatment (e.g. practice frowning, raising your eyebrows, and squinting). This will help Botox/Nuceiva work into your muscles.

- Avoid lying down for at least, four hours after the treatment, to prevent Botox/Nuceiva from moving to other areas
- Avoid doing treatments, like microdermabrasion, facials and chemical peels at least wait for a minimum of 2 weeks (or as directed by your practitioner) before receiving any skin care or laser treatments.
- A cold pack or gel can help you to reduce swelling and minimise bruising, but it’s important to avoid pressure, even after a couple of days, to ensure the success of the Botox/Nuceiva.
- You may take an Acetaminophen/Tylenol if you experience any mild tenderness or discomfort.
- Avoid extended UV exposure until any redness/swelling has subsided. Remember to apply SPF 30 or higher sunscreen.
