The Facts about Microblading

Microblading is a semi permanent treatment that gives your brows a fuller, more defined, yet natural look. Feathering is a technique that helps re-create that perfect eyebrow by drawing hair from root to tip using a semi-permanent dye. Natural looking strokes are drawn using a hand tool creating a fine cut, depositing pigment onto the second layer of the skin. This is different from permanent makeup in the fact that the pigment stays close to the surface of the skin, giving you a more defined or crisp look.

At your Appointment

Upon arrival, we will place a topical numbing cream on your eyebrows. This makes the procedure painless and helps reduce redness. You will have time to consult and go over shape and color preferences. We will take photographs of your brows, and allow you to see the shape by drawing outlines using an eyebrow pencil. The procedure itself takes about 90 min.

After effects

One of the most common questions asked about this treatment is whether there are any side effects. For the first 10 days, you will feel that the eye brows are a shade darker than normal. But this does not last long. Within a few days, the color will blend and your eye brows will look more natural. Another common question asked is – how long does the treatment last? Well, if you follow all the aftercare advice, your brow feathering will last up to two years.
